Dear Colleagues,

We used to use Cyrillic but gave up when we started to type 10, 000
SNPs/individual and wanted the flexibility to show haplotypes on each
pedigree easily. We now use ProgenyLab and whilst it was initially developed
for human pedigrees we have put in many half sib-ships and consangious
matings and the program deals quite effectively with these. It has a large
number of additional functions including housing LOD scores for particular
families and regions but it is not freeware.

Regards,
Gabrielle
