  •  QTL Experiment in Brief
    Animals:Animals were Norwegian Red cattle.
     Breeds associated:
Design:Bulls were genotyped using at least one of the following arrays: Affymetrix 25K SNP array, a custom Affymetrix 50K SNP array, Illumina 54K BovineSNP50 BeadChip, or 777K Illumina Bovine HD BeadChip. Data were imputed to HD and GWAS were performed for milk C16:0 and C18:1cis-9 concentration. A total of 609,361 SNPs were used for analysis. A region on BTA11 was further analyzed using sequence-level variants.
Analysis:A mixed linear model single-marker association analysis was performed using the --mlma-loco option of GCTA.
    Software:Beagle v4.1, DMU v6 release 5.1, GCTA, ASReml v3.0, Haploview 4.2
