    Animals:Animals were Montana Tropical Composite beef cattle.
     Breeds associated:
    Design:Bulls were genotyped using the GeneSeek Genomic Profiler LDv4-GGP Bovine LDv4 and GWAS was performed for carcass and meat quality traits. A total of 27,196 SNPs were used for analysis.
    Analysis:GWAS for each trait was carried out using the weighted ssGBLUP method.
