    Animals:Animals were Canadian beef cattle comprised of Angus, Charolais, Kinsella Composite, Elora crossbred Angus, Simmental, Charolais, and others), and commercial crossbred (Angus, Charolais, Hereford, Simmental, Limousin, Gelbvieh).
     Breeds associated:
    Design:Animals were genotyped using the bovine 50K SNP chip, with data imputed to whole-genome sequence, and analyzed for feed efficiency traits. A total of 7,853,211 variants were used for analysis.
    Analysis:GWAS was performed using mixed linear models.
